National Pet ID Week is April 15-21. Here are a few ideas that you can use to promote your services for that week.

Offer to go to the local pet stores and get pet ID tags for your clients who do not have them. Create a card in the shape of a dog tag and add the following teaser: “Let XYZ Errand Service increase the odds of your pet being returned to you by allowing us to get a pet ID tag for you this week.”

Offer to take your clients’ pets in to be microchipped. Create a card in the shape of a dog tag and add the following teaser: “Let XYZ Errand Service ‘chip’ in and help you get your dog tagged with a microchip this week.”

Offer to take pictures of your clients’ pets so that if they ever have to make “Lost” posters, they will always have an updated picture of their animal. Create a “Lost” postcard the following teaser: “Don’t ‘lose’ this opportunity to make sure your pets will be reunited with you. Let XYZ Errand Service photograph your pets so you always have a current picture.”

Purchase a box of Peeps and attach a card to the box with the following teaser: “Let XYZ Errand Service take a ‘peep’ at your to-do list and suggest some ways that we can help you get rid of it.”

No Housework Day is April 7. You can help schedule a day of fun activities that the family can do that day instead of cleaning. Offer to schedule a housecleaning company to come in and clean the house while they are gone for the day. If you will be focusing on just the woman, then you can schedule some pampering services for her, such as a day at the spa. You can create a group package for a group of women. You can include a day, or half day, at the spa, a meal at a restaurant, and a movie date.
